No pass block vs Bombs in 2016: LRB 6 'All skills that may be used when a ball is thrown may be used when a bomb is thrown also'. (possible rule change): 2016 'Similarly, if the team suffers a turnover during the Vampire's Action - for example, if they attempt to dodge and are Knocked Down - they are moved to the Reserves box (they stalk off into the crowd once they have recovered)' This implies if they are knocked down during a dodge they don't roll for armour or injury just move to the reserves box? where they were picked up from, rather than LRB6 subjective scatter from the team mates square which could be ruled as the throwers square as they have picked them up!Ģ016 'Note that if a Vampire is adjacent to at least one thrall, they must bite one of them - they cannot choose to stay hungry!' LRB6: The player may add 1 to the D6 roll when he passes.Ģ016: The player may add 1 to the D6 roll when they pass the ball.ĭifferences: LRB6 could apply to passing anything, 2016 only the ballīombardiers with accurate still add +1 when throwing bombs as this is in Bombardier skill,īut Throw team mate players with accurate also do not add +1 when throwing a Right Stuff player (if they ever did, although in LRB 6 can’t see anything to say they couldn’t).Ĭlarification: Differences: 2016 specifically states from square the team mate was in, i.e. Gone… no more stabby bonuses and the undead can breathe a sigh of relief if they could breathe! Removal of '(except for Stakes)' along with the Skill Stakes 'īasically the same however, for shadowing a shadowing player the first shadower does not need to dodge so the second shadower, shadowing them, can only move to follow (conga, conga, conga.). LRB 6: 'He does not have to make any Dodge rolls when he makes this move, and it has no effect on his own movement in his own turn. In theory this could now be used for Shadowing a quick snap or a pass block and oddest of all shadowing a shadowing player although you can't force them to have to dodge away from you (see below)Ģ016: 'this is a free move, and Dodge rolls are not required while making it. ![]() So Shadowing no longer requires the movement to be an Action just a voluntary movement out of the square. LRB 6: The player may use this skill when a player performing an Action on the opposing team moves out of any of his tackle zones for any reason. ![]() Shadowing: (potentially huge differences)Ģ016: A player with this skill can use it whenever an opposing player voluntarily moves out of a square in their tackle zone for any reason (not counting push backs and other involuntary moves). Possibly just a clarification as Throw-Team mate is unmodifiable but not sure if safe throw could be used by bombardiers previously? It is also accepted that with a boost to other stunties (Timmmber and Argue the Call), PO removal would unnecessarily harm ogres.Ģ016 added: 'a pass of a ball (not a bomb or thrown team-mate)’. The NAF accept that the PO rule change comes from league play experience rather than tournament play. ![]() NAF Rules Update 1st August 2017: Piling On should be allowed and NOT require a Team Reroll to use. ![]() Contentious point then: if you were handing off the wording 'pick another target' in range of the teammate who he does not have animosity towards does not specifically state no further movement.Ģ016: Removed 'after any Master Chef rolls' suggesting you could argue that these can be taken by the chef also!Ģ016: 'the inclusion of the skill in leagues and tournaments is optional'Ģ016: 'You can use a team re-roll to re-roll the Armour roll or Injury roll.' NAF have looked over these and asked me to share this for people in the know to make comments on so here’s the list: I have put Possible rule changes first as potentially more interesting and clarifications secondĢ016 does not specifically state you cannot move after a failed roll just that you must 'pick another target', LRB6 specifically states no further movement is allowed and that the action is lost. I have been through the entire rulesets from LRB 6 and the new 2016 version and compiled a list of changes some of them are small changes in wording that lead to a clarification or a potential rule change affecting the skill.
